CAD-IT is a global dynamic software sales and consulting company focusing primarily on industrial aftermarket, Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) and Augmented Reality application in Service. We are global partners with Siemens PLM, Cortona3D, CaseBank Technologies and Re’Flekt.

We are looking for a Graduate with an engineering or computer science background to join our team providing cutting edge expertise in service lifecycle management (SLM), technical publications solutions and content creation, working across a wide variety of industrial sectors including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Rail and Heavy Industry.

With this role we are offering a 30-40 day training programme with Siemens PLM. The ‘EMEA Inceptor’ training includes Teamcenter hothouse training with Digital Enterprise & Digital Twin introductions, Teamcenter manufacturing, NX Introduction training, Advantedge and AKS along with some essential soft skill training.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting the PLM/SLM team providing support across both groups. Responsibilities also include working with the business during requirement capturing, and delivering cost effective, supportable technical application solutions that meet the business’s plans.

Key Skills, Experience and Knowledge:


  • A degree in an Engineering or Computer Science field
  • Ability to be a self-starter who can work individually and within a team
  • Strong oral and written communications skills are a must
  • Strong skills in both creating and delivering presentations
  • Professional approach to dealing with internal and external customers.
  • If you have already undertaken training in Teamcenter or other Content Management Systems, PLM solutions or other relevant tools, it would be highly beneficial


Additional Desirable skills

  • Experience of administration modules, such as Access Manager/Workflow Designer
  • Database and Systems admin experience
  • Experience of Information Systems and Server/Client Infrastructure
  • Experience of supporting software implementations and upgrades


  • UNIX and Windows server/client skills
  • Awareness of virtualisation
  • Not afraid to suggest new methods and processes where identified and ability to carry these through to proof of concept
